Wimmer Werk Motorsport to enter in TCR Italy

The Austria-based Wimmer Werk Motorsport announced it twill take part in the 2018 TCR Italy with two SEAT León cars fitted with DSG gearbox that will be driven by Peter Gross and Günter Benninger.
The Austrian outfit, managed by the brothers Felix and Max Wimmer, has entered a SEAT in the 2017 24H TCE Series, claiming the third position in the final standings with Felix.
“We are excited to face this new challenge in the TCR Italy. We will run a León V2 for Gross and a V3 for Benninger. We are a young team, but we have a lot of enthusiasm,” Felix explained.
Both Gross and Benninger are gentleman drivers with experience in the Suzuki Cup Europe and Historical Car series.
