Wimmer Werk and Lubner Motorsport join TCR Germany

The third event of TCR Germany is staged this weekend at Hockenheim, where Wimmer Werk Motorsport and Lubner Motorsport will return to the series for the first time in the current season.
The Austria-based outfit will run two CUPRA Leon Competición cars for team principal Felix Wimmer and Günther Benninger, while Lubner Motorsport will field two Opel Astra cars for the 20-year-old Philipp Walsdorf and Steffen Redlich.
At Hockenheim, Dominik Fugel (Profi Car, Honda Civic) and Harald Proczyk (HP Racing International, Hyundai i30 N) will resume their title fight.
Fugel is currently leading the standings, but with only a four-point margin over Proczyk, who claimed his first victory of the season in the previous event at the Nürburgring.
Behind them are two other Hyundai drivers: Proczyk's teammate Jan Seyffert and Team Engstler's Anti Buri with gaps of 20 and 22 points from the leader respectively. 
Both races will be streamed live at www.tcr-series.com, Saturday at 11:50 and Sunday at 11:50 local time (CEST).
