The Mathilda Racing Volkswagen Golf GTi driven by Andreas Gülden and Benjamin Leuchter scored a second consecutive victory in the VLN at the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
After winning the series’ opening round two weeks ago, Gülden and Leuchter encored in the 43. DMV 4-Stunden Rennen. In the four hour race, they completed 26 laps of the infamous road course on the Eifel mountains and ranked 39th in the overall classification out of the 183 starters.
The white Golf was uncatchable for the other seven teams in the TCR class. Second place went to the Bonk Motorsport Peugeot 308 of Jürgen Nett, Joachim Nett and Bradley Philpot that finished one lap behind the winner and beat by five minutes the SEAT León shared by Jens Ludmann and Arndt Hallmanns.
The third round of the VLN series, the 59. ADAC ASAC H&R Cup will take place on 24th June.
