Tyler Maxson is close to secure the TC America title

Although his streak of victories was disrupted after nine races, three weeks ago at Road Atlanta, Tyler Maxson is on the verge to secure the TC America title for the TCR class.
At the wheel of his Huyndai Veloster N, the 17-year-old Copeland Motorsports driver has amassed a leading margin of 87 points in the standings and this weekend at the Circuit of the Americas he could even afford to lose 36 points of this advantage and becoming champion. Afterwards, only one event is left, with two races at Indianapolis and 50 points at stake.
His competitors are eager to continue beating Maxson in the three races at COTA, especially Scott Smithson who claimed a double victory at Road Atlanta in his DXDT Racing, Honda Civic, and Roy Block whose KMW Motorsports Alfa Romeo Giulietta has much improved in performance. 
The three races of the weekend will be streamed live at www.tcr-series.com: Race 1, Friday at 13:05 local time (20:05 CEST); Race 2, Saturday at 12:05 local time (19:05 CEST); Race 3, Sunday at 10:55 local time (17:55 CEST).
