Tomasz Rzepecki will join the TCR Eastern Europe

Tomasz Rzepecki is another rookie who confirmed his entry in the upcoming 2021 TCR Eastern Europe championship. The Polish driver will race in a Volkswagen Golf GTI run by Basenhurt Racing Team.
“For this season we decided to step up to the TCR Eastern Europe. We were looking to by a TCR car and Łukasz Stolarczyk from BTC Maszyny Racing suddenly popped up and offered us his Volkswagen Golf GTI. We met with him and finalised the deal. Łukasz seemed like a nice guy and was generous with advises on the car; we hope the Golf will be competitive in our hands,” said Rzepecki.

“I’m aware that I need to get to know the car, so I’ don’t expect it to be my best racing season so far. I just want to have fun and be satisfied with my own performance.”

The 2021 TCR Eastern Europe season will kick off in Poznán, that is Rzepecki’s home circuit. “I live only four kilometres away from the track circuit, but believe it or not, I don’t like it at all. I don´t know why, but I just don´t feel confident there.”
