Another TCR Asia competitor who will take part in the TCR International Series event at Sepang is Tin Sritrai from Thailand, a returnee after a one-off appearance in 2015.
Sritrai will be driving a Honda Civic entered by Team Thailand, the very same car he drove to victory in the TCR Asia series’ opening event at Yeongam’s Korea International Circuit earlier this year.
Despite being one of the series’ front runners, Sritrai saw his chances of fighting for the title jeopardized during the his home race meeting at Buriram’s Chang International Circuit, when he remained scoreless due to technical failures.
He was luckier at Buriram last year, when he took part in the TCR International Series and finished the second race as eighth overall and TCR Asia winner.
