Having successfully completed the homologation procedure, the Toyota Corolla GRS TCR has been added to the list of the TCR certified cars as per the TCR Technical Bulletin n.7 issued on 6 July.
Following the Balance of Performance checks, the Corolla has been allocated a Target Racing Weight of 1265kg (1250kg for the endurance races), with no ballast, and a Ground Clearance of 80mm.
The Japanese car is due to make his racing debut in the TCR South America event at Termas de Río Hondo on 27/28 August.
With the same Technical Bulletin, the Tecnodom Sport-built FIAT Tipo TCR has been granted a 10-kilo weight break that reduces its Minimum Racing Weight from 1265kg to 1255kg, while its Ground Clearance has also been reduced from 80mm to 70mm.
These changes are intended for immediate application.
