The calendar of the 2021 TCR Eastern Europe series was unveiled. It includes six events that will be held between mid of April and beginning of September.
The championship will kick off at the Hungaoring and will end at Brno; it will also pay its first visit to Poznán in Poland, an event that was scheduled to happen this year but was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The promoter’s main goal was to avoid an increase of the running costs, therefore the entry fee remains the same as for 2020, while only ten results from the twelve races scheduled will be valid for the final classification.
The other significant change in the Sporting Regulations concerns the grid for Race 2 that will be determined by reversing the final positions of Race 1; the number of positions to be reversed – between 6 and 12 – will be decided by a draw.
