You could call it the ‘Michelisz effect’. In fact, there is no doubt that Norbert Michelisz’s successful career has triggered an avalanche of Hungarian drivers in different Touring Car series.
It is no wonder, then, that eight locals make up the majority of the TCR International Series field at the Hungaroring. Two of them are regulars Attila Tassi and Ferenc Ficza, while another is Michelisz himself.
For this event they have been joined by Ficza’s teammates at ZengőMotorsport Dániel Nagy, Csaba Toth and Anett György, Unicorse’s Márk Jedlóczky and Botka Rallye Team’s
István Bernula (the only one missing in the family picture).
