The FIAT Tipo TCR is granted the official certification

Having successfully completed the homologation procedure, the Tecnodom Sport-built FIA Tipo TCR has been added to the list of the TCR certified cars.
This means that from this weekend’s TCR Italy season opener at Monza, the Italian car driven by Jonathan Giacon is eligible to score points.
Following the Balance of Performance checks, the Tipo has been allocated a racing weight of 1265kg (1250kg for the endurance races), with no ballast, and a ground clearance of 80mm.
