is awarded this honorary accolade.
The Model of the Year is awarded by WSC based on a classification that takes into account the results achieved by all the TCR-certified model cars in all the TCR-sanctioned races held during the season.
During the season a total of 313 races awarded points for the Model of the Year classification. Audi cars have scored 8478 points and a remarkable 76 race wins in 27 TCR-sanctioned series; their most outstanding results were the Gold Medal won by Tom Coronel in the FIA Motorsport Games, the TCR Europe title clinched by Franco Girolami and five victories in the FIA WTCR.
