About twenty teams will take part in the inaugural edition of the TCR Spa 500, the first ever long distance race solely reserved for TCR cars.
The race will be run on the distance of 500 laps of the iconic Spa-Francorchamps circuit or 23 hours. It will start at 16:00 on Saturday and will finish at the latest at 15:00 on Sunday.
Five different brands of car manufacturers will be represented - Audi, CUPRA, Opel, Peugeot and Volkswagen - by some of the most experienced teams of the category such as WRT, Bas Koeten Racing, AC Motorsport and DG Sport Compétition.
Amongst the drivers are familiar faces for Touring Car competition, like Tom Coronel, Pierre-Yves Corthals, Pepe Oriola, Mikel Azcona, Antti Buri, Vincent Radermecker, Julien Briché, Aurélien Comte, Jaap van Lagen, Andy Yan, Rainey He, Sunny Wong and Alex Hui.
The glamour of the race attracted participants from other continents: GDL Team Australia, Teamwork Huff Motorsport from Hong Kong, Macau PS Racing, Viper Niza Racing from Malaysia, but also a buch of North American drivers from USA and Canada who joined European teams.
The event will receive full coverage on the TCR official websites and YouTube channel that will stream live the Friday Night Practice, the Qualifying on Saturday morning and the whole race.
