Team Engstler to run three Honda cars in TCR Germany
Team Engstler will take part in the 2022 ADAC TCR Germany season with three Honda Civic Type R cars.
Last year’s vice champion Martin Andersen from Denmark, who claimed his maiden victory in the season’s finale at the Nürburgring, has been confirmed as one of the team’s drivers as well as Roland Hertner who was victorious in the Trophy class. They will be joined by Polish youngster Szymon Ładniak who was classified 13thin the 2021 championship.
“My goal is clear, I finished last year as vice champion and the aim is to make the top step of the podium and go for the championship!” said Martin. “I expect a tough and close fight all year long, and with the new Honda, we have to find the speed quickly. But everyone in the team is ready for the challenge and looking forward to a great season. I can’t wait to get started!”
