The TCR UK championship has revealed its race calendar for the 2019 season. While six of the seven weekends are on circuits that will be familiar to UK drivers and fans, the series will make a trip to continental Europe for racing at Spa-Francorchamps in June on a date that has yet to be confirmed.
The 2019 season will get underway at Snetterton in April using the circuit’s 300 layout, before a trip to Oulton Park for the calendar’s only one-day event in May. The two races in Belgium in June are then followed by two race weekends in July – at Croft and Brands Hatch Indy circuit.
Following a six-week summer break, the championship will resume at Silverstone in September when TCR UK will be a support race to the GT Open series, continuing an association with the series started by TCR International and TCR Europe. Finally, in a repeat of this year’s series finale, a pair of races at Donington Park will round off the calendar in mid October.
