The calendar for the 2022 TCR Spain championship was unveiled.
The season will kick-off at the end of April in the Circuito del Jarama-RACE; afterwards the series will visit Jerez de la Frontera, Motorland Aragón and Navarra, before coming to an end at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in November.
The championship promoted by Spain’s National Sporting Authority RFEDA, will retain the same format, with three races of 20 minutes plus one lap per weekend, one on Saturday and two on Sunday. A 10-minute Qualifying session will define the grids: the grid for Race 1 will be based on the best lap times, the top-six qualifiers will be placed in reversed order on the grid for Race 2, while the second-best lap times will be taken into account for the grid for Race 3.
Date and venue of the pre-season official test will be communicated in due course.
