The final event of the season for TCR South America and TCR Brasil will take place on December 1/3 at the Autódromo Zilmar Beux, in Cascavel, in the Brazilian state of Paraná.
The event had been originally scheduled in the same date, but at the Autódromo de Brasilia. However, the circuit located in the capital city of Brazil is currently undergoing major works of renovation of racetrack and facilities, and it won’t be ready in time to host the event.
Vicar, promoter of the two series, has therefore decided to move the season finale to Cascavel that has been recently renovated and is in condition to host an international event.
“We have been waiting until it was possible, but now we know that due to the state of the works it won’t be possible to race in Brasilia. It’s a shame because we were excited by the idea of going back to that circuit. We hope that it will be possible to do it next year,” said Fernando Julianelli, CEO of Vicar.
The penultimate event will be held, as planned, on October 20/22 at the Autódromo Velocitta.
