TCR South America’s winning team switch to CUPRA

Brazilian outfit W2 Pro GP that won the inaugural TCR South America title with Pepe Oriola make the switch from the Honda Civic Type R to the CUPRA Leon Competición for the 2022 season.
“The CUPRA was the champion car in TCR Europe and TCR Scandinavia titles and scored several victories in the TCR championships around the world, including WTCR. This makes us confident that it will prove competitive on the tracks of Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay,” said team owner Duda Pamplona.
The team have already confirmed Rafael Reis as one of their drivers; negotiations are ongoing to sign his teammate.
