The Brazilian teams that have registered for the inaugural season of TCR South America took part in a collective test at a private racetrack in the state of São Paulo.
Five teams ran in the test with nine cars from four different brands that were driven by twelve different drivers, with five of them having already confirmed their participation in the 2021 season.

Among the drivers who were given the first opportunity to sit at the wheel of a TCR car were karting champion Pedro Aizza, Beto Monteiro, multi champion in the Brazilian Truck Racing championship, Stock Car regular Gustavo ‘Guga’ Lima, former Stock Light champion Thiago Marques and GT specialist Rodrigo Baptista who drove the Hyundai and the Audi.
