TCR South America champion Pezzini switches to Audi

Reigning TCR South America champion Fabricio Pezzini will compete in the rest of the season at the wheel of an Audi RS 3 LMS run by Paladini Racing.

Pezzini had started the season in the same PMO Motorsport Lynk & Co 03 he had raced last year on his way to clinch the title, but after the first pair of disappointing events he had switched to Paladini Racing for the endurance race at Termas de Río Hondo, sharing one of the team’s Toyota Corolla cars with Fabián Yannantuoni. He then skipped the following round at Interlagos.

From the next event at Rivera in Uruguay on 21/23 July, Pezzini will race in one of the two Audi cars that Paladini Racing has added, expanding its line-up to four entries.

“I’m very pleased, because I felt at ease with Paladini Racing on the occasion of the endurance event at Termas de Río Hondo. To race with them in the following rounds is a big boost to my hopes and expectations, because I think the Audi has a great potential that we intend to exploit,” said Pezzini.
