TCR Scandinavia: Kristoffersson king of qualifying

Johan Kristoffersson made his STCC return in impressive form, claiming pole position for all tomorrow’s three races of TCR Scandinavia at Alastaro.
On the Finnish track, Kristoffersson and his Volkswagen Golf GTI dominated the 20-car field, posting fastest lap in Q1, Q2 and Q3.

“It was fantastic! The team delivered a real piece of car today and made my job a real treat. I have to thank my engineer Ronnie Bergström for making this possible. Now we are going hard for three out of three possible wins tomorrow!” a delighted Kristoffersson said.

Attention shifted to the battle behind him. Current points leader Robert Dahlgren (PWR Racing SEAT León) was second fastest in Q1, while Kristofferson’s teammate at VW Dealer Team Fredrik Ekblom was second in Q2.
Q3 was the closest session, with Dahlgren’s teammate Daniel Haglöf losing pole to Kristoffersson by two tenths. The best of the Finnish drivers was LMS Racing’s Antti Burri in his Audi RS3 LMS who placed ninth.
