Freshly-crowned TCR Scandinavia champion Robert Dahlgren will replace Daniel Haglöf at PWR Racing in the penultimate event of WTCR, next week at Macau.
“I am grateful and proud to represent the team in WTCR. The team has done a great job to develop the car throughout the season in both TCR Scandinavia and WTCR. So I’m especially excited to see how our CUPRA will perform in Macau that is one of the coolest circuits in the world,” said Dahlgren who clinched his second TCR Scandinavia title in three years.
“Robert is a very fast and experienced driver; it will be interesting to see him racing one of our CUPRA cars at Macau alongside Mikel Azcona. It will be a tough challenge for him, but has the experience to fight for points straight away,” Haglöf commented.
Dahlgren’s latest appearance at Macau dates back to the 2011 WTCC driving a Volvo C30 S2000 for Polestar Racing.
