TCR Russia travels to the N-Ring in Nizhny Novgorod

The TCR Russia championship travels to Nizhny Novgorod for the second event of the season that takes place on the N-Ring.
The season opener at Smolensk, saw the LADA Vesta Sport cars winning both races. Reigning champion Kirill Ladygin of LADA Sport Rosneft won the first race, while privateer Egor Fokin was victorious in the second at the wheel of an A.M.G. Motorsport-run car.
Ladygin is the early leader of the standings, 14 points over his teammate Mikhail Mityaev.
Fokin is currently in fourth position, 17 points behind the leader, sandwiched by Lukoil Racing Team's colleagues Andrej Maslennikov (one point ahead) and Ivan Lukashevich (two points behind) who are both driving Hyundai i30 N cars.
The event will mark the first appearance of Timur Shigabutdinov during the current season; just like in the previous years he will be driving an Audi RS 3 LMS run by TAIF Motorsport.
