TCR Russia resumes at Nizhniy Novgorod's N Ring for the penultimate event of the season.
Kirill Ladygin (LADA Sport Rosneft, LADA Vesta Sport) is still on top of the standings, with an advantage of 33 points over Aleksey Dudukalo (LUKOIL Racing Team, Audi RS 3 LMS) who won the latest race at Smolensk two weeks ago.
The battle for the title is wide open, as Klim Gavrilov (VRC-Team, Hyundai i30 N) won the appeal against the penalty that had stripped him of victory in Race 2 at Moscow Raceway and so moved into P3 in the standings, six points behind Dudukalo and one ahead of Ladygin's teammate Mikhail Mityaev.
Three other drivers, all at the wheel of Hyundai i30 N, are still in contention: the reigning champion Dmitry Bragin (TAIF Motorsport), Ivan Lukashevich (LUKOIL Racing) and Grigory Burlutskyi (Carville Racing); their gaps from the leader range from 47 to 49 points.
Both races will be streamed live on Sunday at www.tcr-series.com: Race 1 at 13:25 local time (12:25 CEST) and Race 2 at 17:10 local time (16:10 CEST).
