The calendar for TCR Korea’s second season was unveiled; it consists of six events, two at each of South Korea’s permanent racetracks.
The season will kick off at Yeongam’s Korea International Circuit on the first weekend of May, where Korean competitors will race together with their TCR Asia colleagues.
The series will then visit twice both the Everland Speedway and Inje Speedium before returning to KIC for the season’s finale in October.
The Everland Speedway, the country’s first racing circuit, was built in 1995 and will reopen in 2019 after renovation works that lasted a few years; the new layout has been designed by Hermann Tilke.
All events will feature a double sprint race, except for the third round, in July at Inje that will feature a single one-hour race with a compulsory pit stop for tyre change.
