An Opel Astra for Andrea Argenti

Andrea Argenti will return to the TCR Italy championship; he will drive an Opel Astra TCR run by the South Italy Racing Team with technical support from Kissling Motorsport.

“We had had a good start in the past season, but then something went wrong. So we decided to focus on the future and look for a different car. We evaluated different models, but we were impressed by the performance of the Astra. Its technical specs and the possibility of working together with the German engineering company convinced us to make this choice. So far I have had only one test, at Vallelunga in a freezing day, but it was enough to appreciate its balance and handling. Now I’m eager to test it again in good weather conditions and start working on the set up,” Argenti explained.
