Mike Halder switches to Honda Team

The 2017 ADAC TCR Germany vice-champion, Mike Halder will return to the championship this year with the aim of clinching the Drivers’ title. After racing a SEAT León TCR car for the Wolf-Power Racing in the two previous seasons, Halder has switched to a new Honda Civic Type R TCR that will be run by Fugel Sport under the banner of the Honda Team ADAC Sachsen.
He will team up with Dominik Fugel who has been confirmed by the team.

“I’m very pleased with this opportunity of driving the new Honda Civic. My goal is definitely to improve one position in the championship standings!” said Halder.

The cooperation between Halder and Fugel will extend to the participation of a second team – Profi-Car Team Halder – that will run two 2016 Honda Civic cars for Mike’s sister Michelle Halder and Dominik’s brother Marcel Fugel.
