TCR Germany integrated in the Special Touring Car Trophy

TCR Germany has a new home in the Special Touring Car Trophy (STT) from this year. Within the framework of the STT, the TCR racers will battle it out for victory in their own division over the course of six events. The TCR cars will be integrated in Division 5 as ADAC TCR Germany. 

The STT will operate its ‘4x40’ event format, which This sees the drivers contest two 40-minute qualifying sessions and two 40-minute races with a rolling start. A pit stop is mandatory in both races, giving teams the opportunity to change driver.

“In recent months, we have worked intensively on the future of TCR Germany. In the TCR class within the Special Touring Car Trophy, we have found an attractive solution, which allows those interested to start with TCR cars at the ADAC Racing Weekend. We are grateful to STT and Rolf Krepschik for the support,” said ADAC Motorsport Director Thomas Voss.
