After two seasons in the ADAC TCR Germany that culminated with the 2022 Drivers’ title, Martin Andersen is back home and ready to fight for the TCR Denmark crown.
"I've had two good years, where I ended up winning the German championship, and then I received a good offer to drive here at home again. TCR Denmark has also become quite strong in the European context, so I'm looking forward to fight for my own national title," said Andersen.
The name of the team he will drive for will be revealed in due course.
Andersen will be followed by Peter Jæger, who initially acted as race engineer back in 2020, but later took on the role of coach and sparring partner.
"The skills that Martin has acquired, now make him a completely different driver than he was before he left for Germany. He has a different way of handling the car, which will help him while driving on Denmark’s very technical racetracks. I acted as an intermediary between Martin and the engineers in Germany, so we have gotten to know each other well, and that will definitely be an advantage in the future,” said Jæger.
