TCR Denmark’s calendar has been revised to cope with the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Following the cancellation of the season opener at Jyllandsringen (May 2/3) and the two street circuit events at Aahrus (May 16/17) and Copenhagen (August 1/2), the series promoter concentrated the scheduled over five weekends, four of them between September and October.
“We made the best we could from a very short season. I would like to thank FDM Jyllandsringen, Padborg Park and Ring Djursland for the open minds they showed when trying to find the best solutions,” said Martin Jensen, CEO of TCR Denmark.
The championship will pay three visits to Jyllandringen, the second time for a double header. Considering that each event of TCR Denmark will consist of three races, on 5/6 September at Jyllandringen the competitors will race six times in two days.
