TCR Denmark and Scandinavia join for Copenhagen GP

The new TCR Denmark and the TCR Scandinavia championships will join to race together in the streets of Copenhagen on the first weekend of August.
The two series had already taken part in a joint event in 2019 at the Jyllandsringen, while Denmark-based Insight Racing competed in the whole TCR Scandinavia season.
The TCR races will be part of the traditional Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix that usually attracts a large crowd.

“It is fantastic for us to be able to showcase our series during the Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix. We are keen to put up a good show. I wish to thank Jac Nellemann and the CHGP for offering us this opportunity,” said TCR Denmark promoter Martin Jensen.

“We are very happy to have secured a part in one of the most visited motorsport events in Scandinavia with the Copenhagen GP. This is an important piece in the puzzle to take the TCR Scandinavia onwards,” said Micke Bern Ohlsson, the series’ managing director.
