TCR Australia’s field goes up to 19 cars at the Bend

The TCR Australia championship’s field increases to 19 cars for the third event of the season that is hosted this weekend at the Bend Motorsport Park, Southern Australia.

Will Brown arrives at the Bend as the leader of the standings, having scored 244 points at the wheel of his HMO Customer Racing Hyundai i30 N. He is followed by Dylan O'Keeffe (192 pts) who has won two out of the three races during the previous meeting at Phillip Island in the Alfa Romeo Giulietta run by Ashley Seward Motorsport. Third and fourth in the classification are Tony D'Alberto (David Wall Racing, Honda Civic FK7) 154 pts and Aaron Cameron (Melbourne Performance, Volkswagen Golf GTI) 153 pts.
At the Bend, the series welcomes two new drivers, Russell Ingall and Jerome Cox. Ingall a Touring Car veteran, who has won everything it was possible to win in Australian tin top series, will drive one of the three Melbourne Performance-run Audi RS 3 LMS cars alongside Garth and Leanne Tander.
As for Cox he will join D’Alberto and John Martin at David Wall Racing to drive the team’s third Honda Civic FK7.
All the three two races will be streamed live at www.tcr-series.com and www.tcr-series.tv; Race 1 Saturday at 13:35 local time (6:05 CET), Race 2 and 3 Sunday at 12:45 and 13:50 local time (05:15 and 06:20 CET).
