Jean-Karl Vernay will be the guest star of this weekend's TCR Australia event at Queensland Raceway. The Frenchman will drive one of the three Audi RS 3 LMS cars entered by the Melbourne Performance Centre alongside Leanne Tander and Russell Ingall.
Other line up changes for the event include Jordan Cox replacing Jimmy Vernon in one of the Ashley Seward Motorsport Alfa Romeo Giulietta, Kelly Racing's André Heimgartner switching from the Subaru WRX STI to the Holden Astra previously driven by Chelsea Angelo and Jordan Michels joining David Wall Racing at the wheel of the team's third Honda Civic cars.
After the first three events of the series' inaugural season, Will Brown (HMO Customer Racing Hyundai i30 N) has built a solid lead in the standings. Behind him are James Moffat (Garry Rogers Motorsport Renault Mégane RS), Dylan O'Keeffe (Ashley Seward Motorsport Alfa Romeo) and Tony D'Alberto (David Wall Racing Honda) with gaps of 125, 129 and 143 points respectively.
The three races will be streamed line at www.tcr-series.com and www.tcr-series.tv. Race 1 will start Saturday at 14:15 local time (06:15 CET), while Races 2 and 3 will be back-to-back on Sunday at 13:15 and 14:20 local time (05:15 and 06:20 CET).
