Luca Engstler joins Diego Moran

The Liqui Moly Team Engstler announced that Luca Engstler will be Diego Moran’s teammate in the 2018 TCR Asia Series.
The young German – who claimed the ADAC TCR Germany Rookie Trophy in 2017 – has been recently crowned champion oft he TCR Middle East Series.

“Winning the Middle East title has been a powerful motivation for Luca. For a young driver like him is very important to amass as many kilometres as possible in racing. And this is the reason why we had the idea of entering him in TCR Asia that has no clashing dates with the TCR Germany calendar. He will form a strong team with Diego and will have the chance of knowing new racetracks,” said Engstler Motorsport Marketing Director Kurt Treml.
The team will run three Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR cars in the series and will unveil the name of the third driver in due course.
