Elegant Motorsport returns with SEAT cars

    Macau’s Elegant Racing Team returns for a second season of TCR Asia, with entries for 2017 podium finisher Alex Liu, and part-timer Kelvin Wong.<br />
    Campaigning two Seat León TCR SEQ V2 entries they will be on the grid at Sepang on April 1 looking to build on their strong late season form last year which saw them on the Zhejiang podium during the season finale.<br />
    Liu finished a season high second at Zhuhai last May behind team-mate Eric Kwong, on his way to a top five finish in the TCR Asia Cup. He also delivered an impressive result for the team on the streets of Bangsaen during the Series’ maiden visit to the popular Thai event.<br />
    The Zhuhai event - a race which was right on the team’s doorstep - delivered their best result of the 2017 season with a stunning 1-2 finish, set up by some brilliant team strategy that saw the Macanese team play the weather conditions perfectly.<br />
    Liu’s 2018 teammate Kelvin Wong, will make a return to TCR Asia after his cameo at Shanghai last season, a race where with little preparation time, the experience Macanese driver was able to claim the TCR Cup victory on debut, before backing up with a third placed finish in the second 30-minute race.</p>
