For the third time so far in the season TCR Asia and TCR China will race together. The Zhejiang International Circuit is the stage for the two series in the upcoming weekend.
Teammates Luca Engstler and Diego Morán will continue to fight for the TCR Asia title at the wheel of their Hyundai i30 N cars. Engstler is currently leading the championship by 27 points. Another Hyundai driver is third in the standings, Indigo Racing's Pepe Oriola who has a gap of 52 points.
The main contenders for the TCR China's crown are Daniel Lloyd in the Dongfeng MacPro Racing Honda Civic FK7 and Huang Chu Han in the NewFaster Racing Audi RS 3 LMS. They are currently split by 12 points in the standings that are led by Lloyd.
The Dongfeng team has added a third car for Zou Si Rui who joins Lloyd and Martin Xie.
The two MG6 cars of the MG XPower Team driven by Rodolfo Avila and Zhang Zhen Don complete the 19-car field, although they are not eiligible to score points.
Both races will be streamed live at www.tcr-series.com and www.tcr-series.tv, Race 1 Saturday at 15:45 local time (09:45 CET) and Race 2 Sunday at 11:20 local (05:20 CET).
