Multi championship-winning Target Competition has confirmed that it will enter a three-car team in this year’s TCR Europe series. The team will use a trio of Hyundai Elantra N cars, with the drivers set to be announced next month.
Target Competition has been a regular competitor in TCR Europe, twice finishing as runner-up in the Teams’ championship and winning both the Teams’ and the Drivers’ titles (with Josh Files) in a Hyundai i30 N in 2019. In addition, the team won the first-ever TCR International Series title with Stefano Comini in 2015.
Target returns to TCR Europe after a season competing in WTCR in 2021 and will receive support from Hyundai as an officially supported team.
Andreas Gummerer, Target Competition’s joint Team Principal, said: “We are looking forward to returning to TCR Europe for this season. It’s a series we know well, and we are confident of being competitive from the very start. We will reveal our driver line-up by the middle of April.”
