Tander and Ribarits join for the TCR Asia Pacific Cup

Garth Tander and Hamish Ribarits added to the already impressive list of the 22 cars that will take the Albert Park track for the TCR Asia Pacific Cup.
They will both drive for Audi RS 3 LMS cars for the Melbourne Performance Centre.
With five podiums from his nine TCR starts last year, the Melbourne-based Tander could be expected to feature strongly this weekend as the most experienced driver in the field around the Formula 1 venue. He made his debut on the circuit in 1999 before contesting the event every year thereafter until his final full season in Supercars in 2018.
On one of his favourite circuits, Tander – a three time Bathurst 1000 winner – will be keen to return to the podium this weekend to impress upon the team and his partners that he is ready to continue to take the fight to the TCR Australian Series this year.
His teammate Ribarits faces his third appearance in the TCR Series and the second in the Audi. He raced with success at Phillip Island last year, finishing with a podium result in his maiden race weekend in the category. Despite the fact that he has never raced at Albert Park, he has a good level of experience in these front wheel drive cars.
