Following the outcome of last week’s races in Valencia, the Success Ballast will be allocated to the SEAT León cars of Pepe Oriola, Stefano Comini and Michel Nykjær.
Oriola, who set pole position and won the first race in Spain, will carry 30 extra kilos on board, while Race 2 winner – and current championship leader – Comini will be laden by 20 kgs; Nykjær’s car will receive 10 kgs of Success Ballast.
According to the latest adjustments of the Balance of Performance, decided last Saturday in Valencia, all SEAT cars are given a minimum weight of 1260 kgs including the driver, while the Honda cars are 35 kgs heavier, as they are equipped with a racing gearbox.
The Audi TT and Opel Astra cars benefit from weight reductions of 30 and 35 kgs respectively.
