Squadra Martino finalises line-up for the 2023 season

Argentina-based Squadra Martino finalised its line-up of four Honda Civic Type R cars for the 2023 season in TCR South America and TCR Brazil.

After having announced the signing of Argentine youngster Ignacio Montenegro, the team confirmed Brazil’s Fabio Casagrande and added Uruguayan drivers Enrique Maglione and Juan Manuel Casella.

Driving for Squadra Martino in 2022, Casagrande clinched the TCR South America Copa Trophy and won the endurance race at Termas de Río Hondo sharing the car with Esteban Guerrieri. As for Maglione and Casella, they successfully drove Peugeot 308 cars for PMO Racing, with Casella finishing sixth in the Drivers’ championship just ahead of Casagrande.

“We take our third season in the series like a great challenge. Our goal is to be competitive from the very beginning, as we have everything to aim for positive results,” said Team Principal Sebastián Marino.
