Scott Sumpton joins TCR Spain for final two events

Scott Sumpton will race in the final two rounds of TCR Spain, with Restart Racing running the 18-year-old in a new Honda Civic Type R FL5. Sumpton has competed for the UK-based team in this year's TCR UK championship, finishing 12th in the standings in an older specification Civic FK7, but this will be the JAS Motorsport development driver's debut in the new car.
"I've got the few races in TCR Spain coming up to look forward to," said Sumpton. "I've enjoyed the Civic FK7, it's been an amazing car - however I'm now also looking forward to saying goodbye to it and moving onto the FL5, which has proved itself in Europe and Italy, so it'll be great to hop in it and hopefully do some good things."
