Sachsenring hosts TCR Germany’s penultimate event

TCR Germany's competitors reconvene this weekend at the Sachsenring for rounds 11 and 12, with Racing One's Neils Langeveld on top of the standings in his Audi RS3 LMS.
The Dutch driver has moved into the lead after his home event at Zandvoort, though with just a slim 9-point margin over Harald Proczyk in the HP Racing International Opel Astra.
Luca Engstler and Mike Halder are the other serious title contenders and the first German drivers in the classification.
Engstler, who claimed his maiden victory at Zandvoort in his Hyundai i30 N, lies in third position, 22 points off Langeveld, while Halder and his Honda Civic have a 39-point gap when 170 are still on offer.
The Sachsenring races will be streamed live at www.tcr-series.tv on Saturday at 12:45 and Sunday at 14:45.
