Rob Huff's new race team to enter TCR UK

Rob Huff will have new responsibilities, as in addition to his challenge for the WTCR title, the former world champion has linked up with Teamwork Motorsport to launch Teamwork Huff Motorsport that will compete in the 2019 TCR UK.
Huff has worked with the Hong Kong-based operation since 2013, guiding the team in the Macau Touring Car Cup and helping them to develop the race cars.
Huff drove one of the team's Volkswagen Golf GTI cars at the opening round of TCR Malaysia championship at Sepang in January, and will now work with the team in a formal capacity, adding his name and working with the engineers and drivers to ensure the best results possible during the course of their TCR UK challenge.

Huff said: "I've been working with the team for years, and now with Teamwork Huff Motorsport, it's great to be trying my hand at something else. I've spent a lot of time with the guys, guiding their progress, and now it'll be something different to work with them in the UK, and not only work with them on how to get the best out of the car, but do that at some of the circuits where I grew up racing. It'll be a great experience, and also to have my name on a race team, working with some top drivers as we try our best to do well in the TCR UK championship, will be an exciting and fun new challenge."

TCR China reigning champion Sunny Wong is the first driver named by the team.
