Rick Kerry will make his debut in the TCR UK, committing for the full 2023 season in which he will drive the CUPRA TCR that Jamie Tonks drove to victory at Oulton Park in July last year.
Kerry’s previously touring car experience includes racing in the Britcar series and the Kumho BMW Championship.
“I’ve got plenty of experience of racing in rear-wheel drive machinery for the past 20 years, however, when I decided to go back to racing, I looked for what would be the best and most equal racing to make a return in and TCR UK fits the bill,” explained Kerry. “The Championship has grown over the last two seasons and has offered both a great racing spectacle and also an affordable way to go touring car racing. I’ll be testing the CUPRA in the run-up to the start of the season and I’m looking forward to racing in TCR UK this year as I see this offering me the best competitive option to return to racing.”
