Registrations open for the TCR Virtual Italian Championship

Italy’s National Sporting Authority, ACI Sport, through its ACI ESport commission, has approved the organization of the 2023 TCR Virtual Italian Championship, held with the PC version of Assetto Corsa and the TCR Virtual Official MODs created and released by WSC. The series is organized by DrivingItalia.NET and will take place over six events, starting from April 13 and ending on June 22. 

Thanks to the license released by WSC, all subscribers will be able to download the TCR Virtual MOD for free. The official Mods mod for Assetto Corsa include the latest TCR cars, with their own detailed 3D and real liveries. 

The available car models are: Audi RS 3 LMS TCR, Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce TCR, 

CUPRA Leon Competición TCR, Honda Civic Type R TCR, Hyundai Elantra N TCR, Lynk & Co 03TCR, Renault Mégane RS TCR and Peugeot 308 TCR. 

Championship regulations reflects the real TCR Series regulations as far as possible, with a double sprint race for each event and the start of Race 2 with a partially reversed grid. The series offers the typical features of DrivingItalia's ACI ESport championships, such as reduced registration cost for those who register immediately, the possibility of participation for teams, 15 minutes qualification, license points system and much more. 

Virtual drivers can participate from home, but also from the Driving Simulation Centers, to compete for the 2023 Drivers’ title that will be awarded at the ACI 2023 Motor Racing Champions Ceremony. 

The 2023 TCR Virtual Italian Championship– ACI ESport will start with a hot lap prequalification phase between April 6 and 9, that will split drivers between the PRO and AM servers. 

Each round will feature two races of 28 minutes plus one lap, the ACI ESport 2023 license is required. 

Races will be broadcast live on the Grand Prix TV channel, visible on various Facebook pages and ACI Sport TV (Sky channel 228). 

Prizes: five free seats for the exclusive Minardi Management Simracing Academy, to the top five drivers of the final classification.
