RC2 Junior Team to run three cars in TCR Europe at Spa

Barcelona-based RC2 Junior Team has entered three cars for the third event of the TCR Europe Series at Spa-Francorchamps this weekend. They will be driven by Sergio López and brothers Rubén and Felipe Fernández.

All three drivers contested at least one round of TCR Europe in 2021, with Rubén Fernández finishing twelfth in Race 1 at Monza and López finishing thirteenth in Race 2 in Barcelona, one place ahead of Felipe Fernández. This year, the trio are contesting the TCR Italy series with the highlight of the season so far being Rubén Fernández winning Race 2 at Imola in early May.

For the Spa-Francorchamps event, Felipe Fernández and Sergio López will drive CUPRA Leon Competición cars while Rubén Fernández will be at the wheel of an Audi RS 3 LMS II.
