RC2 Junior Team to race in TCR Spain and TCR Italy

The RC2 Junior Team announced an expanded programme in TCR competition for 2022, with full season participations in both the TCR Spain and TCR Italy championships.
The Spanish team also expanded their car line-up, adding two brand new Audi RS 3 LMS TCR cars to the two CUPRA Leon Competición cars driven by Sergio López and Rubé Fernández and Felipe Fernández during the 2021 season.

Team principal Marc Ribas said: “We are very excited about this new season; there is a lot of work to do with our engineers, mechanics and drivers, but the fact that will be running the new Audi cars makes us confident to achieve great results. We can’t wait to hit the track and prove it.”

The team have already carried out a first test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and will return to the Catalan racetrack in February.
They will start the season running the two CUPRA cars and one Audi, while the second Audi will be added by the middle of the season.
