PURE ETCR and WTCR share the bill for the first time this weekend at MotorLand Aragón and promise to deliver a double thrilling show.
The PURE ETCR resumes after its inaugural round at Vallelunga, where Mikel Azcona's CUPRA e-Racer and Jean-Karl Vernay's Hyundai Veloster N shared victories in the two final races. These results placed the Spaniard on top of the standings, five points clear of Vernay.
Azcona's teammate Mattias Ekström, who is currently placed third, only three points behind Vernay, is eager to claim his maiden win after finishing second to Vernay in the Final B.
Romeo Ferraris' drivers Luca Filippi and Rodrigo Baptista cherish the same ambitions, having proved the potential of their Alfa Romeo Giulia cars with podium results in Vallelunga.
Competitors will run on the 2.646km layout of the National Circuit and the format of the event will include two rounds of battles on Friday and Saturday over 5 laps at 300kW, the one-lap Time Trial at 500kW on Saturday and the two Finals on Sunday over 7 laps at 300kW.
