Pepe Oriola: “I am very happy, it was a great session, the car is perfect and I am feeling very comfortable with it. I’m even surprised of the gap we have built. The fuel pump issues we had in previous rounds seem to have been solved for good, we did a long run of 14 laps and everything is ok.”
Franz Engstler: “I pushed since the start of the session and that was a mistake, as I went off at turn 12. Fortunately enough, there were only body damages and after 3 laps to check everything, I could push again. The car behaves well, I think we have a good set-up and the circuit suits well the TT. I only hope that we will not have too much understeering as we progress into the races.”
Bas Schouten: “I am obviously very happy with second-fastest, considering this is my first TCR outing and my first time at Valencia. I love the track and received good tips from Tom Coronel last week. The car is perfect, very well balanced, it was a good decision to switch rear tires to the front as we did by mid-session.”
