Stefano Comini: “It’s a few years I haven’t been at the Red Bull Ring and it’s quite different, I tried to test where the limits are, that’s why I was off the white lines a couple of times. But I like this track; it suits well my driving style. This first session was still pretty slow but I can’t really say how much room for improvement there is.”
Pol Rosell: “I am satisfied with the third position and the fact that everything was in place and working, which is always the most important thing with a brand new car. But there is still much work to do on the set-up, we had a lot of oversteer.”
Gianni Morbidelli:“Not a very good start of the weekend for us, there is a lot of work on set-up ahead of us, as the car did not feel comfortable, although I expect the track conditions to change quickly through the day. The surface was still very soft this morning.”
