PMO Motorsport expands to three Lynk & Co cars

PMO Motorsport announced it will run three Lynk & Co cars in this year’s TCR South America series. The cars will be driven by Pablo Otero, José Manuel Sapag and Fabricio Pezzini.

Pezzini claimed two wins for the team last season from its total of five race victories, while team principal Otero twice finished on the podium after contesting two race weekends. Sapag joins the team for 2022 after driving a Honda Civic Type R for Squadra Martino last year.

Sapag commented: “I am happy to join the team. I think the cars and the team have a lot of potential and I hope to have more consistency this year.”

Pezzini added: “I am happy to continue with PMO Motorsport. I think it will be a very strong year for the category with more drivers and a tougher field. We will prepare for the challenges ahead and I hope to fight for the title.”
